Tirana police have cracked down on a case of attempted firearms sales.
As part of the "Flagrance" operation, 26-year-old PB, currently under "House Arrest" security measure, was caught red-handed for the criminal offense of "Theft".
A 37-year-old man was also arrested, suspected of helping the 26-year-old sell the weapon. At the time of the arrest, he violently resisted the police officers and attempted to flee.
According to the police, at the place called "Zogu i Zi", a "Honda" vehicle with a driver, a citizen GB, and a passenger, a citizen PB, was stopped.
During the physical search, the Police services found a firearm, a pistol with a comb and cartridges, on the person PB, which he allegedly possessed with the intention of selling in Tirana.
