The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, has reacted for the first time after the arrest of the mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, today.
As he was leaving the DP headquarters, when asked about the incident, Berisha said that this shows that the crime pyramid is collapsing, writes A2 CNN.
"The crime pyramid is collapsing," Berisha said when asked by journalists about Veliaj's arrest.
Veliaj was arrested by order of SPAK on 4 charges and the mayor was placed under the security measure of 'prison arrest' until a decision is made by the GJKKO. (A2 Televizion)
