The Special Prosecution of the Republic of Kosovo has submitted to the Court a request for Prime Minister Albin Kurti to appear before the SPRK to testify as a witness regarding the state reserves case.
It is learned that the request to order the witness to appear at the Prosecutor's Office to give testimony was submitted last week.
If the Court approves this request of the SPRK, witness Albin Kurti must voluntarily appear to give testimony.
Otherwise, according to the law, he is fined and after that the prime minister can even be detained.
Once this order is issued, Kurti must voluntarily appear at the SPRK facilities, but if he does not act as requested, the Court's order is also submitted to the Police, who must then execute the order to bring him in to give testimony.
If the Court decides on this request, procedural actions will begin in the first week of March.
If he does not comply with the Court's decision, that order is sent to the police, who then take over and execute the decision. (A2 Televizion)
