The chairman of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo, said that the country's membership in NATO is a priority of his party. During a conference with the coalition partners, the head of AAK, Ramush Haradinaj, promised that they would make this ambition a reality, while he assured that they were ready to lead the country towards a better future.
Haradinaj presented the plans for the campaign and the parliamentary elections to be held on February 9.
"We will make Kosovo's membership in NATO a reality... On January 11, at 11:00 a.m., we will perform the first solemn act, the honoring at the memorial in Prekaz for the legendary commander, Adem Jashari and the Jashari family, in which case we demonstrate the respect of eternal sacrifice for the freedom of all. While on January 12 at 1:30 p.m. in the October 1 hall, we will start the election campaign with a big gathering where we will present the candidates and our programmatic vision", said Haradinaj.
On the other hand, the chairman of the Social Democratic Initiative, Fatmir Limaj, said that more than ever the country needs to return to security, and as he said, this can be done if this party comes to power.
"Kosovo has been deceived for four years that we left behind, I do not believe that Kosovo will accept to enter into a new deception which would waste the time and opportunity of our families. More than ever there is a need to return Kosovo to work, to return security to Kosovo, to continue to build and cultivate partnerships among our friends".
The campaign for the general elections in Kosovo will start on January 11. (A2 Televizion)
